Day Four: Compare & Contrast

We often approach our layouts beginning with the photos, the product, or the story. But what about a thoughtful look at something in your life using the techniques of compare & contrast.

Emilie378 makes it look easy! Check this out:

Today’s challenge is for either a 2-page or adapted single page layout, but rather than doing it about an event or occasion, use your page(s) to compare & contrast something in your life! For example, you might want to compare something old with something new, something big with something small.  As an example I’ve included a spread I did about my daughter being very good & then very bad.

For bonus points, try using the same template/sketch for each side but rotating, flipping, or switching it up for the other side. Good luck!

My father used to use this quote about my sister & I! What a great prompt. It’ll take some thought.

I think I may do a “He Says/She Says” type of LO comparing and contrasting my husband’s and my ideas about things. THIS ought to be interesting!

I always say that quote to myself when my girls do bad things. I had a compare idea in my head before I even logged on – on the same wavelength I guess.
