Day 31

Prompt:

Day 31: 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon: “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon or “Bacon’s Law” is a parlour game based on the “six degrees of separation” concept, which posits that any two people on Earth are six or fewer acquaintance links apart. Movie buffs challenge each other to find the shortest path between an arbitrary actor and prolific actor Kevin Bacon.”

Today’s prompt is multiple choice:

A.) Connect Kevin Bacon and Tom Hanks and write your own prompt based on one of the films in the connection.

B.) Do you have a celebrity connection? Make a page about it.

C.) As there are so many amazing Tom Hanks movies we might have missed one you love. Create a layout inspired by one of the films that didn’t get enough T.Hanks a Lot love and tell us about it in your description!

D.) According to Wikipedia “Infographics are graphic visual representations of information, data or knowledge intended to present information quickly and clearly. They can improve cognition by utilizing graphics to enhance the human visual system’s ability to see patterns and trends.”  Make a page that is an infographic.

I had so many ways to go with this (started 4 layouts) but of course nothing was working for me so I googled Tom Hanks. What a Money Pit (Rabbit Hole haha).

I was working on another challenge with Pixels2Pages Spooktacular Crop and they had this awesome sketch with half circles from Kim Mannino
The light bulb went off!  I found a collage of all of his movies and then went to his earlier movies and apperances and it brought me to this. I don’t do a lot of journaling, if any, I try to make my title do the trick but I will write on the back of the layout what the layout is all about. I have gone back and added stories to some of my layouts.

I would like to thank Alice for another awesome LOAD and taking over the Scraphappy group. This is the one group that early on helped me get layouts done and get to know all of you. I have been a part of Load since May 2013 and have 800 and counting layouts to show for it. I love seeing all the lovely pages that are posted in our growing community.

Don’t forget to leave some love on the layouts in our Flickr gallery!!!

Be sure to upload your layout to Flickr by midnight Pacific time.
